A limited edition initially launched in 2011<\/strong>, PRALIN\u00c9 DE SANTAL<\/em> was snapped up and sold out by our retailers in just a few days… \u201ccollector\u201d bottles at impressive prices then appeared on second-hand sites, much to the dismay of fans.
\nRequests for returns of this fragrance continued unabated for over a decade<\/h5>\n

\n<\/strong>In 2009, at the height of the perfumer\u2019s \u201cDark Gourmand*\u201d<\/strong><\/em> period, a fan challenged the perfumer during a joyful and passionate in-store customer-creator meeting:<\/p>\n

\u2013 \u201cMake us a sandalwood-hazelnut\u2026but nothing sweet!\u201d
\nThe latter, amused by the interesting association, simply replied:
\n\u2013 \u201cA subject for an essay\u2026 I dare you!\u201d<\/p>\n

A Sandalwood<\/strong> that is both monolithic<\/strong> in its proportions and ethereal in its evolution, tenderly powdery and enhanced by just-roasted hazelnut<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the heart, the perfumer uses the powdery strength and diffusive power of heliotrope<\/a><\/strong> to energize and space out the notes: the accord gains in volume and lightness, sandalwood<\/strong> is omnipresent without collapsing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the base notes, Cedarwood<\/strong> stiffens the sandalwood and gives it verticality<\/strong>, while Fleur de Sel<\/strong> gives it a driftwood air<\/strong> and definitively neutralizes any hint of sweetness.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
