“The reputation of the province of Isparta in Turkey comes from the rose oil obtained from a variety called the “Summer Roses of Isparta” which grow in profusion in the gardens and terraced fields on the gentle slopes of the mountains. The roses are picked early in the morning when they are half open and their fragrance is at its most fragrant…intense, rich, slightly spicy.
